How to access our services

Contact us
We are open weekdays (closed holidays - see list on right) from 1 pm to 3 pm. If you'd like more information before your first visit, feel free to call (805-461-1504) or email us at contact@alffoodpantry.org - but you can also just drop by between 1 pm and 3 pm.

Required Information
If you are a new client, you will be asked to show a photo ID and proof of address. We will gather information about your household and your current needs. For example, address, phone number, birthdates, food allergies, etc. will be requested. All information will be kept confidential.

What to expect during your visit
After meeting with a volunteer who will gather your household information, you will be directed to the west pantry door to wait to pick up your food. A volunteer will call your name when your order is ready. Normal wait time is 5 to 10 minutes. Volunteers cannot carry groceries to your car.

If you don’t live in Atascadero, Templeton, Creston, Santa Margarita or California Valley, please visit the SLO Food Bank website to find where you can receive food.

Meals That Connect provide a free lunch every weekday to Seniors 60 and older. Visit their website to see the menu. You must reserve a spot 2 days in advance.
